Michelin Guide Begins Evaluations in the Philippines for 2026 Edition
Makati City, Philippines – February 18, 2025 – The Restaurant Owners of the Philippines (RestoPH) proudly announces a historic milestone: the Michelin Guide has begun evaluating Filipino restaurants for its first-ever Philippine edition in 2026.

This global recognition highlights the Philippines’ rich culinary heritage and elevates its dining scene to the international stage. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide, expressed excitement about the country’s unique blend of deep-rooted traditions and global influences.
Restoph extends its gratitude to the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco for their efforts in bringing Michelin to the country. "This marks a celebration of the diversity and creativity of Filipino cuisine," said Secretary Frasco.
